#DonateNominate
Student's from the University of Central Lancashire have hit back at the "neck and nominate" drinking game by creating their own #DonateNominate social media trend.
Jessica Isherwood (amongst other students from the University) has been vocal about her disgust of the #neknominate binge drinking trend and the subsequent harm it has caused over recent weeks.

"I don't believe in contributing to some internet fad that will (and has) caused more damage than good! So instead, I have come up with 'Donate Nominate'. And the rules are simple!" Jess explains via a Facebook post (see image below).
The aim of the campaign is to start a new anti-neknominate trend, where participants can nominate each other to donate a value of their choice to charity.
"We hope to help raise awareness of projects and organisations who desperately need support and to take the pressure off those who feel encouraged to binge drink."
