Spring Clear Out!
I've decided I want need to go on holiday this summer and seeing as my best-friend has just started on his new adventure as a Thomson holiday rep in Majorca, I can't think of a better excuse to get away, to go a see him for a few weeks. If you've already read my Explore Majorca blog post you'll know that I love the place, it's an absolutely beautiful island and I recommend going if you haven't before!
There is just one big problem with my get-away plans, as a skint student I am struggling to save up enough money so have decided to have a Spring clear out and sell some of my babies (mainly dresses but also some shoes, bags, accessories etc) on eBay. It will break my heart to say goodbye to some of my beauties and I thought it was only right that I give them the proper send off and dedicate one final blog post to them, sharing my memories of them with you.
1. Cameo Rose Aztec Print Bodycon Dress from New Look
The first time I wore this dress was to the Students' Union Source bar in Preston, I wore it with some red and black colour-block wedges (also from New Look), gold accessories and black leggings. One of my best friends, who was also out, turned up in the exact same dress - I instantly wanted to go home and get changed however, after several vodka and mixers, cocktails and shots of various variety we both found it hilarious and persisted to tell every stranger we met that we were twins.
Worn only a few times since so it's in excellent condition - and this style dress has also been spotted on a few celebs (see below).

2. Black and Gold Vintage Style Floral Lace Dress from Primark
I love this dress and despite being from Primark (and costing the least of all the items I am selling) it has definitely got me the most compliments on nights out. The vintage style lace with delicate floral detailing means this dress pass as a more expensive non-Primarni item and with the combination of black and gold, and cut-out back it is also very on trend!

3. Navy Blue Lace Cut Out Bodycon Dress from River Island
I wore this dress to a Calvin Harris DJ set in Preston and have loved how it looked and fitted ever since. However, if you've read my 17 Things You Shouldn't Do During A Break-up blog post this is one of the outfits I wore during my "drink to forget" stage.. unfortunately, so did the girl my ex had cheated on me with.. in the same club.. on the same night.. for that reason I can never wear this dress again.
4. Black Lace Cut Out Dress With Sweetheart Neck from River Island
5. Colour Block Mesh Cut Out Panel Dress from Miss Selfridge
I wore this dress to a DJ set and meet and great session with TOWIE's Mario Falcone see image below). I'm not gonna lie, I had no idea who he was at the time and was more impressed to find out afterwards that he is sisters with Giovanna who is married to McFly's Tom Fletcher.. anyway. This is another stunning number, as seen in various magazines including Look and also on celebrities including the Saturday's Molly King.
6. Printed Polo Neck Aztec Print Dress from ASOS (River Island)
I wore this dress on our University's version of Take Me Out which was hosted by Britain's Got Talent finalist Callum Oakley. It was an amazing experience and we managed to raise £500 on the night for Preston Domestic Violence Services. Unfortunately didn't get a date - but don't blame the dress, the selection of single guys could have been better and both myself and this dress deserved better.
All of these dresses (plus four others) are up for auction until Sunday 20th April - starting at just 99p! I can only at 10 items at a time so will be adding more items next week. You can view all of my items by clicking here.
