Celebrity Gossip gone too far – RIP Paul Walker
Last night (UK time), the sad news started circulating online that Paul Walker had been involved in a fatal car accident. The news came just days after an 'online death hoax' about the ‘Fast and Furious’ star, leaving his fans and the media confused as they waited for official reports.

Early this morning Cosmopolitan US posted a status on their Facebook page sharing their coverage of the story.
The headline read “Paul Walker Confirmed Dead After Fiery Car Crash” and the story featured in their “Conversation Starters” section of their site which also features the articles including;
“Science! Your Boyfriend Goes Down On You So You don’t Cheat”, “You'll Never Guess Who Tom Cruise Is Supposedly Dating Now” and “You Really Should Clean Your Bathroom”.

Among the touching comments from friends, fellow celebrities and Universal Pictures there are now images of the burning car all over the internet and even a video on one UK news website showing the aftermath of the crash where a body is covered by police and removed from the burnout vehicle into the back of a coroners car.
Even as I write this post there are more “news” articles emerging about delays in the autopsy due to the bodies being unidentifiable.
Is this celebrity gossip gone too far?
If either of the passengers involved in the accident were my family or friend I would be absolute discussed at how little sensitivity is being given and would be horrified that images and videos of this tragic event are publicly available online - my thoughts go out to his loved ones.
