Handmade Fashion Jewellery; Laurinya Jewels

Last week we chatted to Laura Clark, University of Central Lancashire student and entrepreneur.

Laurinya Jewels is the brand for my handmade fashion jewellery. I primarily make bracelets and earrings, but I want to expand my range to resin pendants in cabochon settings, when I have more time.

Currenly I make the jewellery as a hobby and not as a business; I began making it for fun, and after ordering so many beads I decided to try and sell some of my products to earn some money back. I want to try and get a stall at a vintage style fair to see how my products sell, and then try and expand into different things so that my stock has more variation. However, I am in my last year of University at UCLAN, studying Forensic Science and Anthropology, and this is taking up a lot of my time.

I’d love to turn my hobby into a business in the future, perhaps after university when I have the propper time to dedicate to it.
