Competition; Winner Announced

We are excited to announce the winner of our Logo Design Competition;
- Kieran Riddiough, 3rd Year BA (Hons) Graphic Design student from The University of Chester.

"When coming up with roughs for the North West Fashion logo I tried to keep in mind the obvious connotations of the name, and incorporate them together in a way that the audience would find visually stimulating.

The Final logo features the thread of a dressmaker along with a needle, the less obvious characteristic of the logo is the way that the thread loops around the needle to create a compass like shape, with the needle pointing North West! I had only entered one competition prior to this, hosted by Riverside Innovation Centre, I was lucky enough to win on that occasion also!"

I currently showcase my work on NiceSwanCreative which acts as my portfolio site, from this I have had various freelance requests, all of which are vital for a budding Graphic Designer (and skint student!). As I approach the end of my degree I am currently looking for any work experience in the industry as possible, and publicity such as this can only do good.
